Some Island Surprises

All around the islands there is unmistakeble beauty. I think sometimes it is hidden just behind a dune or shrub. Just take a step off the beaten path and you never know what you will find. Here is a fishing boat dropping off a fresh catch for dinner at the local restaurants. Then there are the wetlands that we need to preserve to keep the natural balance of sealife so that we can continue having seafood to eat.
And of course you have to wait for it. And it only is around for a few minutes, if you are lucky you might get 20 to 30 minutes before and 20-30 minutes after, but that is what the big skies at the beach are all about and when it's clear, which is about 300 days a year in North Carolina, you get to see incredible sunsets.
