Only a few people in the world got to see this Total eclypse of the sun on July 11th 2010. Fortunately some took photographs so the rest of us can get a glimpes of the event. Thank you. It's amazing.
For me, the beach is a place to relax and forget about the gnawing rush of every day living. It's a place to get away and stop long enough to find oneself again. Lomalagi Resort is a place that is perfect for finding the lost treasure that is inside each and every one of us. So if we cannot go there today, here is a youtube video where we can escape to this wonderful place called Heaven if only for a few minutes and dream. Take a deep breath and imagine yourself tucked away in a safe, cozy paradise...
Nanette De ville describes her passion for the ocean in her blog - Life Reflections. I hope you will also visit Nanette's blog and find serenity and inspiration there.
26 Jun 2010 The Ocean Calls
My Soul yearns to be near water, the Rivers and the Oceans do call.
Many Old Souls re-incarnating have a tremendous love and respect of the water.
It is clarifying for the mind and body....cleanses the skin and refreshes.....
We do not mean the hoards of people who go cook themselves on a beach for a fortnight quick roast.......
Those who go for spiritual upliftment to fill their lungs with exhilaration..visiting the Sea or Ocean fills your whole being with wonderment it is connecting you to an old source of years gone by. The Ancient Antlanteans do so need the water elements... the natural flow of the Ocean dictates the healing being given by the Ocean... you say healing given by the Ocean the energy is powerful and strong. You can tell the type of healing needed by the size of the waves or if it is like a mill pond the gentleness and softness of the healing ..... the sea is good for healing deep seated emotions.
I can think of nothing better than to meditate listening to the sea waves or ocean surf rolling allowing the spirit to dive deep into the sea and swim with the marine life, somersaulting with the dolphins in clear blue ocean or sea....the bluer the better because this is how God created all the Seas and Rivers Blue.... Only man tainted them brown and grey. Now we have them black and murky...
When will the beings on Earth learn to respect what was created and how it was created.... technology is all well and good but look what it has brought....Pain for all.....
Do you think the water elements will just sit and tolerate the daily punishment......we shall see...
The surge within my Soul is crying out for the Seas Oceans and Rivers oh to be united with the water energy I so miss.....
I pray daily for God to take me to be near the water so clear and pure.....Living here is more than I can endure... the urban suburban jungle....
There are special places on the Earth where the water flow is like a divinity.......
Oh God helps to heal our Seas, Oceans and Rivers so they sparkle blue, and the natural life can flourish and the water spirits can come and play once again amongst the rolling waves.....
All around the islands there is unmistakeble beauty. I think sometimes it is hidden just behind a dune or shrub. Just take a step off the beaten path and you never know what you will find. Here is a fishing boat dropping off a fresh catch for dinner at the local restaurants. Then there are the wetlands that we need to preserve to keep the natural balance of sealife so that we can continue having seafood to eat.
And of course you have to wait for it. And it only is around for a few minutes, if you are lucky you might get 20 to 30 minutes before and 20-30 minutes after, but that is what the big skies at the beach are all about and when it's clear, which is about 300 days a year in North Carolina, you get to see incredible sunsets.
